3d acceleration won't enable

Hi there,

I hope this question hasn't been answered already, but I couldn't find it anywhere.

I've been using SageTV for a few months now with no problems... last night I was trying to free up some disk space on my C: drive, deleted one thing too many, and windows started acting up, so I formatted and reinstalled everything.

When I reinstalled SageTV I was amazed to find it detected my ATI TV Wonder VE card, which it had never done before. But now the GUI is a little slower than it was before, and I noticed the transparent menus went away. I went into Detailed Setup under Advanced and noticed that 3d Acceleration was disabled. The trouble is, I can't get it to change to Enabled. If I click on it, it changes to Enabled for a second and then changes back.

I'm currently running a P-III 866 MHz, 448 MB RAM, ATI Radeon 9200 video, Hauppauge WINTV-PVR-150, ATI TV Wonder VE, Sound blaster Live, Windows XP SP 2. I tried updating the radeon driver to version 6.14.10.6517 but that didn't seem to help any.

Any ideas what I'm doing wrong? It just seems so strange that it worked before I reinstalled everything and now it's gone.

Only thing I can think of is ...what codec are you using ? is it the same one ? you have the tweak applied if you are using the intervideo driver ?

Make sure you don't have any of the 350 stuff enabled in the detailed setup of Sage.
