His and Hers shows - Grouping by keyword

My wife and I watch a different set of shows, and neither of us cares to see the other’s in the list of recorded shows. Does anyone know of a way to make each favorite with a keyword and then group them by that word?

Ideally one could reassign a show after it’s recorded, and possibly have more than one keyword per show.

I am currently using Cayars’ mod and would want two menu choices (“her shows” “my shows” “others” for example) that would display the normal recorded shows view but only with the appropriate shows.

Content management is one of the killers for all DVRs and I think this system would put more control in the hands of the user. Any ideas?

I don't think there's a way to do this.

But using Meekell's STV, you can have his and her channel lineups. It's not exactly what you're looking for, but i thought it should be mentioned.

I actually set something like this up but using two computers. I'm not married but I have friends, cousins and girlfriends who don't watch what I watch. Also, I delete things I watch so when they snooze they loose . What i did to fix this was I have Sage server getting my shows and the sage client box (its also my test PC) running meedioTV getting their stuff.

This will probably not work for you. However, I have been thinking about putting SageTV on both computers. I think what this will do is put all the recordings from the other Sage box into archive (of course they have to be networked). And shows recorded on the box itself will show up in the recordedTV library and shows from the other Sage box will be found in imported video. Kinda combersome I know. Sage should really consider a user system like Meedio has.
