SageTV 2.2 forgets channels

I apologise if this is a repeat question; I looked through the last few pages of posts and didn't see anything like this, nor did I see anything from a search, nor in the 2.2 manual (which is very nice, BTW).

I'm running Sage 2.2 on a Windows XP box with a Hauppauge PVR 250. I have Adelphia digital cable. When I set up the input source, it listed all the channels, but they were all static. So I told it to scan for channels. It found them all, and they played beautifully.

But then I shut it down (via the upper-right corner X) and rebooted the computer, and when I ran Sage again, all the channels were static again. It had not forgotten the channel names nor my favorites. I went and scanned again, and it played fine... until the next reboot. I wouldn't mind, since I don't reboot too often, except that it clears the list of enabled channels, and it's kind of a pain to re-enable them.

Any thoughts?
