chanels changing by themselves?

I have a sage client server setup. I am using usbuirt to control 3 of the boxes. for some reason one of the boxes keeps changing the channel while i am watching. it just goes up the channel list. I change it back and in a minute or 2 it starts going up again. like someone is pressing the channel up button. it's not the remote in my living room. the sage interface never changes. it is the usb-uirt or something on the server doing it. any ideas?

Easy to tell if the usb-uirt, does the led light flash when it's changing?

haven't been able to catch it yet. the tuner boxes, usbuirt, and server are in the basement. I have to go down there and vnc into the problem box and wait for it to happen again. I will do that tonight when I have more time.
