Shutting Down SageTVClient With Command File
Is there a way to shutdown Sage automatically with a batch file? I could obviously just kill the process but I was hoping there was a more civil way to do it. I've looked at the event codes but the best I can do with those is put it to sleep.

I'm sure there are other ways, but one way is to use my SendMessage utility to send a WM_CLOSE (Windows message # 16) to it:
SendMessage.exe SageClientApp SageWin 16 0 0 I just tried that & it closed. The utility is already in your SageTV dir & is covered in Appendix J of the manual. Or, run it w/o params for some info. - Andy

I never did understand why there wasn't a command in Sage to just shutdown the program so what I do is put Sage in Sleep mode and then right Click on the icon in the tray and select Exit.
