.IR file for Dish 301 Echostar - USB-Uirt

A couple newbie questions.
1. Is it possible to plug in a preconfigured IR file?
2. Does anyone have one for Dish 301 Echostar?

I am having issues getting my USB-Uirt working.

Using Dish 301 Echostar/ Hauppage 250 w/Remote & USB-Uirt
Cant Change Channels(DIsh) with Hauppage using USB-Uirt
Channels show that they are changing in Sage TV but they aren't
Everything Else Appears to be working except this.

After finally learning and going through the process(since I'm a newbie),
I can't seem to get the USB-Uirt to Change Channels on my Dish Receiver

When I look at the Dish Info, it states that the dish is a
2700/3700/2800 ??? - go figure - right from the System info of the box.

I have configured my source
As External Receiver Satellite
USB-Uirt As a Transmitter Only(for now)
and I Learned the remote
...But then I get nothing.

Everything is working except the channel Changing.
I am using the Hauppage 34 Silver as the remote that came with the Hauppage 250/IR receiver

Has anyone else had any experience with this.

A search for dish 301 showed this as one of the results.

In Source Details, there is a Tuner Control option menu; see p. 122 of the v2.2 manual. You can test and reprogram your STB remote's codes from there. Are you placing the remote fairly close to the USB-UIRT when you are teaching it the remote codes?

2 -6 Inches and it takes the info with no qualms.

I was using Page 197 of the Sage Users 2_1 Guide. I am now looking at the 2_2 Manual. Thank you for the input. I will give it a shot.

Reprogrammed it and still nothing.

Did you check the ir files in the link I posted above? Other than that, maybe someone with more USB-UIRT experience will have more comments.

I tried the IR files in the link. Nada...
I also used the test USB-Uirt app that Jon sent me. I tested the transmit to my satellite box. It doesn't change the channels either.

I will try the Dish IR when I get home later this afternoon.
