What are the settings for Plextor Convertx TV402U?
I can't get my ConvertX to work with SageTV. I get a black screen and sometimes I get errors when I try different settings. It works fine with GBPVR so I know that the hardware is fine.
My input is composite cable with no set top box. What settings should I use? Salama

What error messages are you getting?
Is everything from GBPVR closed? Any services to shut down? I'm asking because if another process controls the tuner, SageTV won't be able to use it. When I installed mine, I simply installed the drivers, restarted SageTV, and went through the Setup Wizard to configure its usage of the Plextor. I don't remember anything complicated, but I was also just using an analog cable coax line. - Andy

I have GBPVR closed and the service is not running.
SageTV is in a frozen state. The window is black and I can't switch channels. What video renderer and encoder are you using? Mine are set the 'default' but SageTV doesn't tell me what the default is. S.
