Lightbulb Moving Sage TV shows to Sony's PSP

Just wondering......Is there a way to move recorded TV shows to the new Sony PSP?

Since the device only has memory equal to its memory card (1GB Sony Mem. Stick Pro tops right now), what would be the best quality to record shows in if you're planning on moving them to the PSP? And what should I use to translate the video?

Here's a tutorial to connect:PSP Connect

You're going to need this converter (Its converts to a mp4 format):
3GP

And then follow this tutorial:Video Transfer Guide

And there ya go.

Whoops-found a better utility: PSP Video 9
Website: PSP Video9 Website

I was wondering if anyone has figured out how to use DirMon to automatically encode shows to MP4, ready to transfer to their PSP. I don't know if 3GP has commandline options or the correct options for FFMPEG.

Thanks to anyone who figures this out!!!

Rick

the new 2.0 firmware allows encoding into AVC (Superior quality to regular ASP mp4 files) there is a pretty in-depth thread about it on Doom9's Forum
