SageTV can't see Sonic Audio Decoder
I have Sonic Cineplayer 2.01 installed on my machine ( from MyDVD 6 ) and the sonic audio decoder isn't listed as an option in SageTV. However, the video decoder is listed. These are the only codecs I have installed on my machine and the versions of the codecs are :
Sonic Cinemaster MCE Audio Decoder 2.5.04.1410 Sonic Cinemaster DS Video Decoder 2.5.04.1051 I'm able to use both these codecs in ZoomPlayer to play both DVD's and MPEG files. As such I'm unsure as to why SageTV can't use the audio codec. Any ideas? Cheers Peter |

Well if they're the only ones installed, setting Sage to "Default" will use them (since they are default. It looks like they changed the names (before they were Sonic Cineplayer@ DS ...). Close Sage completely (not just sleep, but you can leave the service going if it is) Open your sage.properties file (or sageclient.properties if you're running the service) and add the two codecs you listed to the additional_audio_filters and additional_video_filters lines (the video dec to the video line and vice versa).
