I am having an interesting issue. I just installed 5_10 fresh.

I cannot get commercial skip to process files. I have set the settings to process while awake as well as asleep. Even enabled comskip in the video menu.

No idea why its not processing. there are no special settings that I could find in the WIKI. Anyone had simmilar problems?

Thanks,
Jeff

Are you using ShowAnalyser or Comskip?

Did you copy the comskip.exe into the Sage directory?

Groups should already be displayed as most recent recorded to oldest. I will verify.

You cannot exclude channels in the EPG.

Font color should be stored in the properties file. I will verify.

SageMC heavily supports DVDProfiler data. Check out the My Videos Wiki.

I don't use the My Games menu myself. I is pretty much whatever Sage created.
Thanks for your reply! I am having a problem with the first, for some reason, it is listing my groups in alphabetical order.

I found settings for font size, style and type but can't find one for color. I must be just missing it, there are so many lines, but I went through my properties file twice and couldn't find it.

Thats pretty cool. I will look into DVD profiler more carefully. I discounted it because my emphasis for meta-data is on TV shows instead of DVDs.

Ah I see, I will play with it based on the manual info then.

Thanks alot!

Black background with main menu obstructed

Everytime I tried to load this stv I recieve a black background with the main menu all messed up...

When I move around the menu, the screen overlaps with the same screen over and over again...

I tried to move the .stv file to the directory where the background.jpg file is and it doesnt work...

I also tried to delete the ui/backgroundimage= property in the properties file so that it may reset itself but that is not working either....

The default stv works fine whenever I switch back to it...

Anyone have any ideas?

Did you make sure to download the full release of the STV, or did you only download the "SageMC 16x9 Latest". The "latest" file actually only includes the .stv file itself; none of the supporting stuff necessary to make sure the STV operates. (The full download is around 27mb).

Yep, need the full version first.

Extract that (using folder names) to the ..\SageTV\SageTV\ directory. When you are done, extract the latest STV file to the ..\SageTV\SageTV\STVs\SageTV3\ directory. (You should get a message saying the file already exists, do you want to overwrite? Which you click yest.) Then, when selecting the STV file when inside of Sage, make sure you get the one that's in the SageTV3 directory.

I dont know if this is the right place to mention it but using the IMDB integration ive found what I think is a bug.

I have two films in my collection which it fails to look up.

They are:

Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure

Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey

The only choices it puts forward use the word Bill only. Is there a problem with "&" ?

Where is the actual download

I'm sure I am missing something but none of the links in the SageMC Wiki or the top post in this thread actually take me to the latest full version download?

The menu selector stays in the middle of the screen and the menu options scroll up and down instead of the selector moving...

Check out the Wiki for the Main Menu on how to configure it.

The link you provided it to the SageTV downloads section. The download link for it is on the very bottom.

menu detail missing

Thanks for all your work on this STV. It is geat! I am having a problem with my menus missing detail after sage has been running awhile. All the headings are there but the detail is missing. This happens with everything, Program guide, Movies. music files and pictures. Restarting sage will bring everything back. I have all the latest files installed, and have reinstalled a few times. The regular STV does not have any problems. Am I missing something?

I have never seen anything like that if I am visualizing it correctly. Maybe someone else can comment.

Serious thought should go into changing where the download link is in this. I've seen too many posts of people that can't find the link, only to have to be pointed out to where it is on the page. I have to admit, I had to look around for it for about 5 minutes to find it the first time...

And it's not just for this STV, it's any files that people have uploaded. Why is the download link so small? If it's going to be at the bottom, then at least make it like 72 point font...

For a couple days I though it was not there for me since I am a forum admin . I wish it was bigger and at the top too.
