First of all, I think Nielm's Web Server is a great plugin. However, I'm one of those people who has to rely on a dynamic IP address. In fact, I must confess that I still use dial-up (resolved Monday, I hope). Anyway, I have found a solution that allows me to use the full functionality of Sage from any computer connected to the internet.
There is a free Application/Service called
LogMeIn that allows full remote control of your computer that doesn't rely on IP address. I have batch files that dial and disconnect and I schedule these daily to give myself an hour window where my home computer is online after my classes end at work. I can use this hour to connect to my home computer and schedule shows I have overlooked, delete stuff I don't want, etc.
I'm not trying to be a shill for anyone, but I spent 10 mins yesterday deleting files to make room for NCAA tournament games and adjusting the padding to make sure I saw the end of the late game, and was just overcome by geeky-enthusiasm. I thought this might help my fellow dial-up chumps and, perhaps, others.
