|
confused with plexor/sagetv kit
I bought the bundle.
It came with a sagetv key, a plextor 402-u and a black remote and ir rcvr. How does this setup send commands to my VOOM or cable boxes? Shouldn't the kit come with a usb-IRT????

If you bought this bundle: SageTV & ConvertX TV-402U Bundle with Remote, then no it doesn't come with an IR blaster. Glancing through the store just now, it doesn't look like the USB-UIRT is included in any bundles.

Hmmm...the other day one of the bundles came with some ir blaster. Kind of wierd that they do not say this. A really new user could miss this easily, like I did. Oh well, I'll buy the usb-irt and wait a few more days. Phil

The Hauppauge 150 card comes with its own IR receiver/blaster that connects directly to the card & comes with its own remote. The remote + receiver/blaster are part of the product; they are not add-ons. The Plextor tuner does not have its own remote or blaster.
