Something crapped out

I am not sure where to even begin with this. A problem with Sage comes up just about every 2 weeks. I tweak and click and bang stuff and it starts working again. Many times I am not even sure *what* I did to make it work. But I am yet again stumped.

Last night I wanted to record West Wing. I went to schedule recordings, typed in west wing, highlighted it, then It said no shows available. I looked in the live tv section and all of the stations said 'no data'. I went into the setup wizard to try and update the epg and it said 'no internet available'. There was internet, but ok Sage whatever floats your boat.

So I restarted thinking that may change things. It did. Sage stopped working completely (no decoders available). Rather, the winpvr250 stopped working. So I unistalled reinstalled the pvr250 as per instructions on the hauppauge site and still nothing. I unistalled, restarted, installed java. Still nothing. Windows update (I'll try anything). Still nothing. HArdware mgr says the 250 is working fine, but what does it know?.

I dont know even where to start, or continue. I am running a athlon 1.4 on an epox 8k7a mobo, 512 ram, 160gb hd, pvr250, nvidia vid card (forgot the model - 5200 maybe).

Dunno what I did, but got it back working again. Just uninstalled the pvr250 and sage and reinstalled. FYI the 'color bar problem' that only effects the pvr350 is effecting my 250
