Installed 2nd tuner

Just installed a 2nd tuner. The first is a Haupauge 250 and the second is the AverMedia MCE1500 I read about here with the FM tuner built in. It installed no problems, Sage saw it no problems, it appears to work. I read a post that the 1500 was a little better then the 250 all around so want to make that the default but cant seem to find where that setting is.

How do i set one tuner to be default over the other?

See the mmc/encoders/XXX/encoder_merit property on p. 180 in the v2.2 manual (Appendix A).
