NAV causing memory leak

This is driving me nuts, I can't seem to figure out why Norton AntiVirus causes My memory to be eaten up like nothing while using LiveTV in sage. I've already excluded .mpg, .mpeg and the entire drive my recording folder is on. Yet it always eats away. If I disable nav and launch sage, view livetv, it's perfect.

Any ideas?

In its Options for Auto Protect -> Exclusions, double check your exclusion list. I simply excluded the multiple dirs where recordings are stored. (multiple drives.) If that is correct, what version are you using? The latest one has some sort of worm protection that I disabled, since it conflicts with my firewall.
