SageTV and PVR 250 Problem

Sorry to make my 1st post on this forum a question, I really did search the site to try and find a solution. Here's my problem. I just installed a new PVR 250 and loaded the drivers from Hauppauge's site (not the CD) found here:

http://www.hauppauge.com/pages/suppo...vr250-350.html

I installed both the driver and the video decoders. I then installed the SageTV and SageTV Recorder trial versions. Both installed fine and the SageTV setup went fine as well. When I tried to watch live video with SageTV I received this error, "There was a Playback Error in playback. Details: sage.PlaybackException: ERROR (-4,0x0)...). So I went back to the above Hauppauge site and downloaded WinTV2000 to see if it would work. It works fine so I came here to do some lurking. I came across the SHS site and downloaded the 22301 drivers and am still having the same problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Well first off, you don't need SageTV AND SageRecorder, you need one or the other, probably SageTV is what you want (SageRecorder is a stripped-down VCR like prog).

So make sure you aren't running both at the same time, and then if that doesn't help, tell us what your settings are in Detailed Setup->Video

Thanks!

I uninstalled SageRecorder which seemed to have left SageTV missing some files. Ran a repair and all is well.
