Upgrade oddities

Call me slow, but I like to watch all the others around here fix the problems first. Anyway, I upgraded my 2.0 server and client to 2.1 today, and while many quircks I was having are now fixed, I have 1 outstanding problem, and a new one.

The outstanding problem I have is with my music library. Many of the files are labeled with symbols rather than the actual song/filename, this has been in my system since v1.x and I've yet to get anything with the search results for a fix, maybe I'm just not using the right search expressions.

A new problem that has cropped up is on the server, music videos will crash the interface. I get the dredded send report thingy, and the only files that seem to do this are wmv's that I've converted to mpeg2 with WinAVI, but these same files play without flaw on my client.

The same source files converted to DVD format do not crash the server or the client.

Server specs, p4-2.0g 384mb ram, via chipset, ati radeon 7000 video PVR-250 x2

Client specs, AMD Sempron 2800 768mb ram, nforce2 chipset, nvidea mx4000 video

Any suggestions would greatly be appreciated.
