remove a program
How do I remove a program so that Sagetv doesn't remember that I already recorded it? I recorded two movies that I would like to re-record at a lower resolution. They are both over 10 Gig and that eats way to much harddisc.

The quick way is to use the "Recording Error" selection from the show details (the same place you normally delete files from). This will basically tell the system "Forget you did that"

As long as a video is unwatched when deleted, SageTV can automatically record it again. (Yes, Recording Error is a quick way to delete it if it was watched.)
You could do a manual recording for the show & it will get recorded regardless of whether it was already watched or even marked as Don't Like. If it was watched & has already been deleted, you could use one of the custom STVs that include malore's Viewing History custom menu to see all the old shows in your database & clear the watched marker for the show. - Andy
