Specifying AC3Filter
Hey there,
I'm interested in adding an AC3Filter option to the MPEG2 Audio Decoder Filter list (Detailed Setup -> Audio). I thought I read somewhere how to do this, but I can't seem to find it in the forum. I realize that I can set the MPEG2 Audio Decoder to Default, and as long as AC3Filter is configured as the default decoder (Filter Merit -> "Prefer AC3Filter" in the AC3Filter Properties dialog), SageTV will use AC3Filter. However, this option is causing a conflict elsewhere, so I'm looking for a way to use AC3Filter with SageTV when the "Prefer other decoder" option is enabled in the AC3Filter Properties dialog. Thanks for your help! |

It shows up automagically for me.

Just add AC3Filter to the additional_audio_filters line of the properties file.

Thanks guys...
For anyone else who is interested, I run SageTV as a service and at approximately line 230 of the SageClient.properties file the line should read: videoframe/additional_audio_filters=AC3Filter Note that you have to close SageTV (Alt+F4) before modifying this file. |

But you don't need to stop the service for this change (since it's in the SageClient.properties file) FYI to others.
