no audio

hi, i have a pvr150 and am not getting sound in either wintv or sage live tv.
i have tried all audio settings in sage.

i noticed sage added some wierd entries for audio "renderers"... but it doesnt seem to have any options for selecting audio input source.
i tried my line in on my intergrated motherboard sound card, and i tried the audio input on the hauppague pvr150.
no go.

anyone??? very frustrated...

No sound in winTV makes me think that there is a problem not associated with Sage. If you run winTV with Sage off (not just sleeping) and you get no sound, I feel pretty confident the problem is not with Sage.

Check to see if you have the latest drivers from Hauppauge for the PVR150 (just in case you haven't checked).

Anything else that you have tried? What kind of connections to the 150? What kind of speaker/sound output from the PC?

I have two 150's and have had limited trouble with them, usually just fine tune adjustments.

I USE THE SVIDEO -IN on the pvr150, and then have a rca to headphones adapter type cord tp put stereo rca in to the pvr150 from the satellite receiver.

i guess i can try a new cable... but i think it was working before with this cable.
should the input type be winTv wave if using the audio in on the pvr150 in wintv?

i notice sage doesnt list that hauppauge audio input, in fact, it has a few very weird type input sources, none of which work.

odd, it turned out a bogus cable.
the weird thing is, its as if the cable just stopped conducting without being disturbed.

i think i will make a new one out of cat5 now.
