streamzap remote

I purchased and recieved the streamzap remote. just downloaded the driver, installed it, and have been getting aquainted with the remote.

the basic buttons work, but when setting any of the macro buttons to 'toggle full screen' nothing happens.

if i set up one of the macro buttons to 'toggle mouse mode', i can press that macro, then press 'exit' button, highlite 'toggle full screen' then press 'ok' and i can switch back and forth.

i would really like to find an eaiser way, as i am setting this up on a dedicated pvr connected to my tv.

thanks for any help provided

Kirk

I would definitely second girder. The whole thing of passing events is kinda slow. With Girder, it's almost instant response (my response slowness I'm pretty sure is my machine).

I'm gonna go against the grain here and recommend not using Girder. I don't have any response problems.. besides, the StreamZap remote only has 4 programmable buttons.. and my remote, albeit basic, does everything I need it to do.

Macro buttons from left to right:

* SageTV.exe
* SageTV full screen (toggle)
* SageTV DVD Menu
* SageTV miminize to system tray

With girder, all the buttons are programable. And you can set up fancy stuff like toggles and such.

Granted, but they are not necessarily intuitive, since you are overwriting the default button behaviors.
