SageTV crashes when trying to watch VCD Live TV
Hi there,
my sagetv and my sagerecorder are exiting with an error, when I try to watch LIVE TV in VCD quality. (I copy and pasted the appropriate lines from the textfile linked in this forum) I can record in VCD Quality and watch previous VCD recordings without any problems. When I press the LIVE TV Button, sage first hangs, then crashes. Is there a certain trick to it?

No trick. It's not supported. You can't timeshift (pause live tv) with VCD format (but you can record or playback). We figured no one would ever care much about it because of its lower quality.
