Is there a way to separate videos into different directories?
Is there a way in SageTV to separate out videos into different directories? I.e. I have movies, tv series, music video's etc. In Sage, all the video files (which I have a few hundred of) show up in the my imported videos directory in one place. Is there a way to make it so I can browse through multiple video directories? Perhaps, there is an STV out there that enables me to do this?

You can have multiple video directories and multiple import directories. But you can only see SageTV recorded files in one list (hoping this will be addressed in version 3). Not sure about the STV since I use stock SageTV.

If you mean for imported videos, which it sounds like you mean, see the Video Library section of the manual (starting on p. 80 for the v2.1 manual). It has a subsection called Video Folders where this is discussed briefly. In short: put your videos in subdirectories in your video import dirs.
For SageTV Recordings, see the "Group by" option on p. 36 for info on how recordings can be grouped into categories. - Andy
