Newbie question related to display to TV

Hey Everyone..

I am new to the technology ..

If this issue is a simple fix that could have been detected by searching the discussion boards and finding the answer i apologize.. I searched and didnt find what i was looking for .. Could be related to my lack of knowledge on the subject though..

well anyways..

Recently installed the WinTV 350 Card and got everything working GREAT!!.. I am running my cable line out to my TV. The output of the software GUI on my TV is slighly to large for the screen.. Aspect Ratio Settings only affects the actual feed from the Cable but the issue is the actual Sage TV GUI.. Aspect Ratio Mode doesnt seem to change anything.. The Gui displays fine on my PC.. its just the output to the TV... Unfortunately I dont seem to have the ability to "crop" my television screen from the actual TV side the way you could a computer monitor..

Any help or pointers on the subject would be helpful

thanks,
Dave

You need to use the Overscan settings in Detailed Setup to adjust the OSD/Menu size/location.
