PQ on 42" Plasma

I recently built my dad a new SageTV based PVR machine to use with his 42" EDTV plasma. I am using the mvp client and am having a lot of problems getting the picture quality to be acceptable. I am using the svideo output on the MVP. The picture is not crisp and leaves a ghosting type image when there is movement in the picture.

The capture card is a PVR150. Can anyone that has a similar setup post their recording settings for the 150.

Have you tried connecting your computer? It should give you a better picture than the MVP since you've got a progressive display.
