Sage Recording / PVR Card Sequence

Setup: SageTV "Server" with 3 Hauppage 250's one with Cable Box input, the other 2 are basic cable "from the wall". I think SageTV is v1.3.8. Second Machine with 1 Hauppage 250 and SageTVRecorder running as a Network Encoder - input is a 2nd Cable Box. SR is v1.4.10

Previously the lineup in the Sage Guide was:

Sage1 - PCI #2 - Basic Cable
Sage2 - PCI #1 - Cable Box, Premium Cable
Sage3 - PCI #3 - Basic Cable
Sage4 - Network Encoder, Cable Box, Premium Cable

I recently swapped out the Network Encoder machine (Will swap out the SageTV "Server" in a couple of months & at the same time upgrade SageTV). I removed Source #4 (the network encoder) from SageTV using the Setup Wizard. Moved the PVR 250 and SageTVRecorder to the new machine, set it up as a network encoder and then added it to SageTV using the Setup Wizard.

Everything is working OK - can successfully record 4 programs simultaneously but have one thing I would like to change. When I added the Network Encoder to SageTV, it became the first source - Sage1 and pushed all the others down a notch.

For a number of reasons, I would prefer not to have the Network Encoder be the first choice for SageTV to use for recording. Is there any way to force the Network Encoder further down the list? I'd appreciate any help.

In your propeties file you can set the encoder merit for each tuner. I'm not sure it'll change the order they show up in the list, but it will change the order in which they are chosen.
