Picture is Jerky and Freezes

I am new to Beyond 3 TV and within the 3-week trail period of this software. The picture is jerky and it often freezes. If I can solve this problem I would buy the software.

I’ve done some research on the forum and have found a number of suggested fixes. One of those is the installation of a third party MPEG-2 decoder. The instructions for the installation say, “ Open Beyond TV, select the Web Admin option.” I have not been able to locate the Web Admin option. Can someone point me in the right direction?

Also how do I change the directory that stores the recorded programs?

So far I have defragged the hard drives, turned off Norton Internet Security and tried various Hauppauge drivers. So far I have had no luck with anything. It is jerking an and freezing every few seconds.
