Sage Won't Change Channels

Hi,

I've had Sage along with my WinTV PVR350 for well over a year now. Things have worked well for the most part other than minor bugs.

However, I upgraded Sage from version 2.1.9RC6 to 2.1.10, and also updated the WinTVPVR drivers, and decoders to the latest (pvr250_18_22170 to pvr250_22_22292). After doing this, things seemed OK, except that when I went to watch some shows that were recorded AFTER the upgrade, I found that the wrong shows had been recorded. Further analysis showed that SageTV, along with the WinTVPVR, would not change channels. Watching 'live TV' on Sage would stay on channel 5, regardless of what I did to change channels. Sage thought is was changing channels. It would display the channel it thought it was on, along with the name of the show it thought it was playing. However, the tuner was still tuned to channel 5. I have the "Source" input for my WinTV PVR set to TV TUner, and I have the WinTV PVR set to "Use tuner on Capture Card to tune cable TV" so its not that Sage thinks I'm using a cable box or anything like that.

I've tried about everything. I checked the menus to see if I had screwed up a setting. I loaded the old Sage that used to work. I loaded the old WinTV PVR drivers that used to work. I reloaded them again in different orders. In installed the Hauppauge video viewing software to see how it worked (It could change the channel, while Sage could not).

Basically, it is just broken at this point. I can't record anything except on one channel. I can't figure out how to get back to where I started.

Anyone with ideas, please let me know.

Thanks,

Since you are using v2.1.10, see if this helps: Updated DLL for tuner related issues in SageTV v2.1. Or, perhaps try the latest beta.
