hauppauge pvr-150 and pvr-150 MCE

Hey guys, I have a pvr-150 retail that came with the ir blaster and all, but now my local shop does not have any more in stock so im going to be ordering the other 2 that I want to use. I dont really need the ir blaster, but has anyone had problems getting a retail pvr-150 to work with another 150 but media center edition? are they the same thing just without the ir blaster? Thanks for any info.

If you don't need the IR blaster/receiver for the remote on your current 150, I don't think there is a problem mixing the two types of cards. But, since the 150mce has no IR connector, yet the driver can't tell them apart for IR purposes, you can run into a problem getting the IR software to use the correct card if one card has no IR port.
