I'm running Win7 x64, and the app doesn't even work for me. It dies immediately with an error 0xc0000018. If I run it in XP compatibility mode the error goes away, but the app doesn't work either - it just exits immediately.

Any chance you'd be willing to share the source code with the community? I could really use this solution and I'd be happy to build a 64-bit compatible version.

    Thanks!

Hey man. I was browsing around the forum, and came across your post.
you said you made this program and posted it:
    http://dius.org/reswatch.zip

It appears to work great for me, and I appreciate the help. I just have 1 question for you.

    I'm in WinXP Pro.
I run the 1080p bat (I changed the refresh rate from 60 to 24 for my TV).
I open task manager, and I can see it running as a process, with almost zero cpu usage.

If the resolution changes, the "reswatch" process kicks into action, changes the res back to what it should be. This part works flawlessly. Now, the problem. In task manager, reswatch is now sitting at 50% CPU constantly.

I have to kill the task, and start it again for it not to eat up my CPU.

I was hoping you might be able to figure out a fix for this problem, and let me know!
I'd GREATLY appreciate it, your tool is one of a kind.

    thanks again
