I just watched my first Sage-burnt DVD in my DVD player... :-)

you guys rock... :-)
Right makes sense, all of your "external" batch files will need to be adjusted from C:\Program Files to ....

Thanks.

2HR show, No go!

I just tried burning my first 2hr movie. The size of it was 3.67GB. Right after VRD opens I get a popup with some sort of msg. I'm at work now so I don't have it in front of me. I have compression turned off. I had no problem with .5hr show the other day. Has this been mentioned already?

I can tell you right now before Carlo even gets to this message you are going to have to quote your exact message or problem when you are in front of the TV.

We had so many issues getting this to this point, hard to tell what is up with a general error. A 3.67GB movie generally is not a problem at all, lets wait for the error then we can try to diagnose.

Cayars,

I have been playing around with making my own script to create DVD as I wanted a custom menu interface. I have been using the script to demux the mpeg files like what you use (found from the debug.txt file). When I do this, the mpv and mpa files are created just fine, but VideoReDo asks me to click OK to close. Is there a way I can tell it to just close on it's own?

P.S. I'm also using DVDAuthorGUI for the menu creations, and I'm not sure if there is a command line to execute a saved project file. If you know of how, I'd appreciate any help.

Thanks

No offense Deano, but I'm not supporting 3rd party scripts or any additions/modifications outside the DVDBurner app. I almost didn't build the debug.txt file because of this.

I will be adding menu creation along with a few other things to the DVDBurner app in the near future.

Cayars,

Sorry, maybe I wasn't exactly clear on my request. I wish to use VideoReDo outside SageTV. I can open a DOS shell and execute the command to demux the mpeg file (using the /e command). However, when the command is done (files created), VideoReDo asks to close (I have to press enter), and then I'm returned to the dos shell. Is there a listing somewhere of the / commands? I wish to not have to press enter when I'm done.....

I'm not trying to rewrite the burner app, or develop another one. I just want to make some clicks for the wife easy when she wants to make a dvd.....that's all

Got ya.

No, there isn't a close option command for the command line. You can however take a look at the VBS script which will have a COM interface close function.

Thanks Tony424,

I found a problem in the debug.txt file so I'm going to have to correct this in the EXE and get a new build out.

Actually Tony, what I thought I wasn't true. I was thinking one thing and looking at something else. Your log file looks good.

Bummer!! It works fine for 1 (.5hr) show. I haven't purchased VDR. Could it be that?

That is probably the problem. Things get messy when the files get "chopped" because of the VDR demo mode.

DVDBurner Official Release 1.0

Attached you will find a zip file that contains two files. Please extract this into your /SageTV/STVs/OriginalV2/Cayars/External/DVDBurner directory.

This is now the Official Version 1 DVDBurner!

If you are a VIP member these files are part of the Cayars18TestC.zip download and you do not need to download them here.

I am sure this is a feature request....

Great to see the DVD burner utilize the Comskip (Malore) data when burning as an option. So end state we get a movie file that excludes commercials (as defined by Comskip) and is continuous.

Just a thought thanks.

Fantastic! Sorry about that. Let me check it out as I suspected the Comskip was so new the DVD burning would not have been up to speed with it yet. Thanks.
