Interesting finding. I re-installed 2.0.20 OVER top of 2.1.10 and got this working perfectly again. I then installed the release candidate 2.1.9 over top of it and all is well. I do notice "slight" pauses here or there in VMR9 mode but not too bad. Overlay works pretty well.

I then install 2.1.10 OVER top of 2.1.9 and all hell breaks loose again for me. Same major pauses, studdering, bad audio, etc...

Install 2.1.9 OVER top of 2.1.10 and still have bad problems. Install 2.0.20 over top of this and then install 2.1.9 over the 2.0.20 and things a good again.

I'm in 2.1.9 land right now with a usable system. So it appears that something (maybe even a little change) dramitic changed between 2.1.9 and 2.1.10.

If anyone is experiencing the same type of problem I had try 2.0.20 over your 2.1.10 and then upgrade to 2.1.9 and see what happens. Only takes a few minutes. BTW, do a reboot between each install.

Clearly there is a dramatic difference in your experiences to that others are having. Bummer that you all are having trouble.

I would encourage you guys to look for commonality in your systems in order to get the quickest possible resolution.

After you do what you describe... what version does SageTV say you are running when said and done?

Killer STV btw!
