OK, I know someone will probably jump in and say, "dude, this has been asked 200 times before, just go back and look," but I can't find it via "search this thread" and it's really not worth searching each page of this mammoth forum, so if someone can help a brother out, I would be much appreciative.

When I get to the end of a recorded file, it goes to the (I think) standard recordings screen. But I use Malore's 2 pane view as my default (and in my main menu). Is there a way to get it to go back to my preferred recording view? Thanks!

Which version of Cayar's STV are you using? This works as you are asking for in the current version.

I'm using 18D, but at the end of each file it goes to a different recordings view than the one I start on.

As long as you are in there Tox, check this weird one out. In Malore recordings I have noticed that at the end of a file when returning to the menu after the auto delete feature, sometimes the "group by" settings appear default to "Single Group" instead of by "Title" as I have them normally set. This doesn't happen every time, whish is odd, but it can be corrected by exiting the recordings menu and entering it again. Or I have a button mapped to the recordings menu, and pressing it will return the grouping to the method I have set. This is in 17 so it may be corrected already.

Has anybody looked into the coding around the "favorites options"? I noticed that when you add or edit a favorite's options you can not always tell it to only record new episodes. I assume this may be because there arn't always new episodes listed in the electronic program guide. However, if I know that a new episode of said show will be on at some date in the future, and I don't want reruns shouldn't I be able to set it now even if a new episode wont be on till next season? I'm running 2.2.3 and cayars17. Is this a sage issue a STV issue or just my issue?

The sorting is done in the core so there isn't a way to be able to strip this out. You could request it from Frey.

I did put a request in for this... may they'll agree and implement it into a future version... or maybe I'll just start a poll about it...

Cayars18 Test E has been released.

This STV release is for VIP members and can be downloaded from the normal place. The file name is Cayars18TestE.zip

Please post any and all problems here in the forum. I'd like to get these fixed up and make this a formal 18 release.

Is there a way to map "Channel Favorites" to a command or put it on the main menu where you select your guide? Maybe like add a button and map it to an internal screen and then have channel favorites be option to pick?

Is there a log somewhere that details what the internal comskip is doing? Also I've been wondering what exactly the benefits are of using the external comskip vs. the internal one.
