OK. Disabled Commercial Cutting. Again, VideoRedo started about 3 seconds after starting the Burn. Attached is the Debug.txt file along with the error message.

Thanks again.

Robert.

ok slowly but surely....

manually delete the .vprj file of the program you want to burn. then run the thing again, making sure commercial cutting is disabled, and report the results .

Carlo,

I'm thinking commercial cutting is the problem. Its not passing the commercial cutting disable option correctly and so if a vprj file exists, its using it. Then, I think the problem is that the CLI is not right when using a .vprj file, at leat it doesn't produce an .mpa file.

Thats my theory, but robert_griffin's results will ahve to corroborate it

EDIT: robert_griffin: try letting the DVD burner run all the way through this time. If that doesnt' work, then do manaully end the task, post the debug.txt file, etc.

At least they're down to only a couple now.
Reported problems with comskip skipping shows back in post # 2303. Even with 18A it still seems to happen. One of my tuners recorded two shows back to back on the same channel, second show was comskipped, first one wasnt.

OK. Left Commercial Cutting disabled. Deleted the .vprj file. Again, VideoRedo started about 3 seconds after I clicked Burn. Received the same error. Clicked OK past the error. DVDDecrypter started and burnt a very short video. It was completed after about 20 seconds. Attached are the debug.txt and the error msg.

I just wanted to comment. You said you had Cutting turned off but the log file shows you had it turned on.

I'm investigating this right now as your log file doesn't match what you said you had it set for. Seems to be that it's not quite passing the /cutter paramter correctly.

I went to Setup > Detailed Setup > External Setup > DVD Burner and disabled Commercial Cutting. Just verified, it is still off. I did not restart sage after making the changes. Do I need to do this?

Are any of you having performance problems with the 2.2.x betas? I have been having a terrible time. I even re-installed my system from scratch and I am still having problems.

I have mostly eliminated some of the video stuttering problems by bumping up the buffers, but my system continues to intermittently act sluggish. I've noticed it happening after stopping a video and also when I have a show conflict and then other times for no apparent reason. Yesterday I reinstalled 2.1 RC9 over 2.2.3 and then installed 2.2.1. I am still having these problems. I have submitted a couple bug reports, but I have not heard anything back.

Anyone got any ideas? I was going to go back to 2.1.1 but I couldn't find the installation files. I may have deleted them accidentally during the last system rebuild.

No you do not need to restart. What STV version are you running?

rsagetv99, you should be able to still download them again. Just look at the current file name they are showing you in the status bar. Type it manually and change the numbers.

I too am still having some issues with the DVDBurner. It is identical to robert griffin's problem.

I have just uploaded Cayars18TestB.zip for the VIP members.

Same place as usual, just change the name and the URL/name is case sensitive.

Version 18 Test B
Fixed issue where working directory 2 in DVDBurner code was not functioning correctly.
Made additional addustments to external player code to further refine it.
Removed "MP3 VBR Fix" Code that was added in 18 Test A. Now included in core for 2.2.4.
Fixed internal links in OSD for ComSkip logic in OSD.
Fixed issue with XCard plugin not removing entries when disabled.

Do me a favor and keep these out of the Cayars forum and in one of the general forums. I wouldn't mind but there is so much track here already that we don't need the thread "drift".

OK. Hopefully this will be released prior to my trial version of VideoRedo expires. Thanks for all of your help trying to get 17 burning.

Carlo,

Can you take a quick look at this log file and tell me if this is STV related, or if you know what is causing it. Some of the errors I get after hitting Stop while playing a show.
