odd. For me, the files stay at 0 byte. Maybe Ill have to re-run through my settings.
Do you connect to 127.0.0.1:whateverport for your encoder? This is how mine was configured, but ive been wondering if I should even bother trying hostname or actual ip(im sure it wouldnt do any good, but the question has been looming in the back of my head, none the less...) I.

I have 127.0.0.1\:6969 specified as the encoding host.
The channel change freeze bug appears to be a known issue that is supposedly resolved in the latest beta. There is also the possibility that the new beta is sending commands that SDVBRecorder doesn't recognize or acknowledge??? Cheers Peter |

I've tried the new SageTV 3.0.5 Beta and it resolves the channel switching freeze for me in both SDVBRecorder and my new MyTheatre plugin.

thats good news. Unfortunately for me, when I upgraded, it hosed my setup pretty bad, and I did not have enough time to bring it back to life before primetime. That pissed the wife off pretty bad.
I will now watching the beta from the sideline ![]()

Has anyone gotten the DVB-S plugin to work for FTA signals in North America? Does the plugin extract program info from the DVB stream the way Myth does?
Thanks, Mike |
