I checked the changelog and didn't see this version. What's new in it?

The DL links for the new 9.1.10 version all return a page that says 'Forbidden!'
Maybe you need to enable downloading?

Thanks!

The account is showing "rate limited" on bintray...no idea why???

I will test it tomorrow and if it continues i will contact bintray support.

I got an email saying the account was rate limited, and I've emailed them to see what is up.

Maybe Sage has secretly become the most popular RYO DVR?

I was doing some googling, and apparently, this is a common thing. It might appear that we've gone over some all-time threshold of data (10g maybe).

https://github.com/skycocker/chromebrew/issues/1826

If this is the case, then I'll have to see if it's simply a matter of doing some housekeeping and removing old builds, or, if they are basically just going to keep it locked until we pay the 150/month ransom... which isn't going to happen.

Perhaps we need to move to using GitHub opensagetv for releases and their binaries? There seems to be good support for that and GitHub states the only limit is a single file cannot exceed 2GB which is not an issue.

It will mean some effort and rework of any automation we already have for Bintray uploads but may be required as there are MANY instances of constant rate limits posted even when the limit was removed once or twice.

I'm trying to download the latest version 9.1.10 but it keeps saying forbidden. I even try the 9.1.9 and it says the same. Is the host site down? well probably should have read this first, but ok that sucks.

Yeah, it would appear that once you hit "rate limits" they basically hold you content hostage. I know some sites will suspend for for short time, or even degrate the performance, they appear to the take the bitlocker approach and simply deny you access to your content Seems pretty shady to me. I do think we should shut down the Bintray site at some point. Unfortunately, I'm not sure how much I can help with that at the moment

To make matters worse...I tried to delete some old version from the windows installers and they do not allow you to delete anything more that 365 days old - catch 22

I am trying a temp GitHub location for now and will post the results soon.

I have created a temp location for the windows files while we try to resolve the Bintray issue (or move to another solution - large task)

The first post is updated with the link.

Thank You!

I upgraded to 9.1.10 using the temp link without problem.
