Glad to hear they are arriving safely.

And an update to say that the spare remotes are now sold out/spoken for.

Currently, 75% of the ordered HD300s have been shipped. Also, I've been receiving emails asking if there are still HD300s available: yes, they are still available. I will post when they are all gone.

Andy

if you end up stuck with a bunch that you can't sell, will you offer them at a reduced price to people who already purchased them for the inflated price

It's not the shipping costs you want to worry about. It's the import tax.

Ordered 2 HD300 and got a bill for £109

£28 Customs Duty
£68 VAT
£13 Admin fees.

That was on top of the $69 postage.

Current status: 88% of orders shipped.

Everyone who paid prior to today (May 13) should have had their order shipped by now. FedEx and USPS are supposed to send out emails with tracking numbers when I ship packages, so if you paid before today and haven't received a shipping notice yet, send me an email.

At this point, the only invoices that have not gone out are those for people who asked for an HD200 and are on the wait list to see if anyone drops out, a couple international orders where I'm waiting for a reply to a price quote, and a couple people who asked to delay the invoice while they are out.

If anyone else reading this topic falls into a different category and has not yet received an invoice, please send me an email. (I'll update the main sale topic at a later time.)

Thanks!

Andy

Another one of the NZ contingent arrived and up and running.

Thanks Andy for all your work in dealing with the shipping requirements for us down here.

Guilty as well. But I was a young kid so I can blame my parents for having it on.

I think I can say this now... That's where Google was hiding the remaining HD300s. I realize it sounds impossible from a timeline point of view, but Geraldo never mentioned them because he probably didn't know what they were. Not really sure if I was allowed to mentioned that, but sooner or later people will have figured out that line of Google research some day in the long ago future anyway.

So, Geraldo has known where they were all this time! I knew there was something shifty about him.

From the timeline of when Geraldo found them I can only assume that Jeffrey got his hands on one of these alien artifacts and back engineered them to come up with SageTV and the hardware extenders. That just might be part of the explanation of why the rest of the PVR software/hardware world is STILL so far behind a product that has had almost 0 development (at least for us SageTV users) in the last 3+ years.
