Most the delays are not in graphical updates, but actual data crunching. After choosing to view a list of files, it has a significant delay before they show up, etc. Once it is able to generate it's list of graphical assets to display, it is very quick, but it is the actual general processing power that is lacking.

My experience with XBMC on the RBPi is slow. Moving between sections can take a second or more. Playback, even with the codec purchases, is prone to stuttering enough to be noticeable.

Personally, I'm looking forward to the Intel NUC (DC3217IYE) and either XBMC Frodo with a PVR backend or running a SageTV client.
