Low resolution fanart rendering?

Make sure that the resolution is set to the numbers in my last post - 1280 for HD300 and 1024 for HD200.

Then set the percentage-based numbers for each of the UI elements (backgrounds, banners, etc.) to something high enough so as to avoid additional on-screen scaling. Example: If a banner shows up at around 50% of the screen width, then set it to 50.

Then sit far enough back that you will hopefully not notice any irregularities. No amount of tweaking is ever going to make the extender UI look as nice as a PC-client UI at 1080. And the HD200 UI elements are always going to look significantly inferior to HD300 - Probably because of multiple scaling down then back up again.

Thanks for posting this TM, noticed the same artifacts on my HD200 and HD300's, and upping the %, modifying the UI width, and rebuilding fixed it.

is there any reason that after clearing the cache, on the prebuild it says that some items are already in the cache

Depends if you accessed anything in the mean time that would have cached a few items. Like the widgets etc...

If you are really worried about it just manually delete the cache folder then restart the pre caching.

It's caused by the process we use to go through the media items in that it was faster to use a media list that may have duplicates than to have a cleaner list and a slower run through them...so in the end you may get some items reporting as already in the cache.
