I suspect that the 'Bong' is a problem with permission - like you have UAC active and it is unhappy... hard to debug that remotely. I would make sure I check the permission path - SageTV is running with a specific NT account/identity and it will need permission to run the executable...

I'm sure you're right. I'm running Sage as a service under windows XP Home and I think the permissions issue is key. However, it's all academic now as I have traded my SA 3250 HD box for a SA 4250 HD which now gets along well with the Cisco 4640 HD box as they accept the same paramenters for EXEmultituner.
