I agree - Both my girlfriend and I got rid of our iPad's for the GT 10.1's - The screen was one of the biggest deciding factors for us. That and the customization of the widgets for work, scheduling, etc.

It looks like it could work with mirage on android as long as the stuff that forces detection to iphone/ipad is changed to open it up for any devices or android as well..

Can't you just spoof the browser ID on Android's browsers ? If that is your only problem...

You can spoof it in the browser, but when the browser launches Mirage Beta to play the stream, Mirage Beta would need to also provide the spoof, and also the username and password for jetty would also need to be passed.. So there are some issues to find solutions for in order to get it transparent through the browser.

Just curious, is the Mirage streaming in TaSageTV working for it?

I've looked at the jetty logs and it looks like when using TaSageTV the useragent is being spoofed as Iphone - is that right? - Shane

Unless we can change the streaming server (hint...) to try sending the httplive://, then pre-3.0 devices will not get HLS to work (stock...) Now, using the recently released Vitamio multimedia library (http://vov.io/vitamio/), if someone could release an updated player, then all should be well. It appears that Mirage is moving to the vitamio library model... at least that is what they said on their blog... -Jason

Can't connect via web
I'm not sure what's happened, but some time in the last few weeks I lost the ability to connect via the web.
I can still connect if I try my local network, but I get a "cannot display the webpage" error if I try via the web. I'm using dyndns.org, I was manually configured for port forwarding through 8080 on my router back when everything was working. After it stopped working I figured out how to fix UPNP on my router and now have it set up to automatically manage the connection. But I still cannot connect. Is it possible that Comcast has started blocking 8080? What else should I check or try? My firewall (whs v1) is set to allow SageTV to communicate (at least I think it is - it was working a few weeks ago). My fallback is to just uninstall jetty and all of its dependents, but I'd rather not go through settings everything up again. Any ideas? Thanks, uberpixel

Your SageTV server could have changed IP, so that your router is no longer port forwarding to it...

The error I'm getting says that internet explorer (or safari) can see the computer via the internet but the connection is being blocked, so it seems I've got a router/firewall issue of some sort. I wonder if there was a recent security patch from microsoft for WHS that has screwed things up? I think I'm going to try to uninstall jetty and reinstall. Hopefully that freshens up all of my settings so I can start from scratch.

I just started using this plug-in and seem to have everything set up correctly and can control my Sagetv with my iphone/ipad with great performance. However, as soon as I start to stream HD-PVR files, everything starts to chug. I have a Athlon x4 645 proc, and when using Airvideo with live conversion, everything is evenly distributed through my cores and the playback on the same files is as smooth as butter. When I use this mobile web interface, I get one core that spikes like crazy while the others barely do anything.
Is there some trick or ways I can evenly distribute the workload or can I change the way this streams? I really would love this feature for the live TV conversion on the fly, as Airvideo always ends the stream where it begins. Thanks! |

Ok, thanks for the quick reply. Is there any alternate way to stream our live tv HD-PVR recordings other than Airvideo, or maybe some way to trick airvideo to keep checking the file as it grows larger from the live recording?
Thanks again. |

When you login to http://a.b.c.d:8080/sagem/m and it asks you for the username and password where is that set at?
I need to change the username and password for the login. I of course set it up somewhere but for the life of me I don't remember where. Working just great on my iPhone 4 using either Wifi or 3G. I've also tried it on my new HP Touchpad but have run into a problem. Working on getting the logs as required to report the problem.
