Can we please get the original airing date added to the search sort criteria?

Shouldn't be a problem.
I've had to reprioritize things lately so my Sage dev has slowed down but I hope to get back to it in a couple weeks.

I got a question. Once you get imported videos working (like my collection of MKV files), is there a reason for TiSageTV? This seems to do everything that app does, but just through a web interface.

Well, since it is done through a web interface, you can't have caching of the various lists for offline consulting. The list of your imported videos have to be queried each time, instead of using a local database... I guess there might not be much difference if it is only for occasional use. Maybe ask in the TiSageTV thread and see what people have to say.

Technically the mobile client could have a local database with HTML5, but that's not in my plans - I hadn't thought about it until now
It kind of depends on personal preference as to whether you want a native or web app and also on which plugin's UI design (graphics/navigation) you prefer. TiSageTV also supports photos and music while the web interface doesn't support those yet. I wrote the streaming backend for both and it doesn't support music yet, so with TiSageTV you can't stream music (but it might be able to start playback on extenders and placeshifters).

I appreciate the work you've both done, and I did buy TiSageTV, but I like some things better about the web interface, although it is not as full featured.

I am always opened to suggestions, if you're thinking of something specific, but the TiSageTV thread has been quiet for a while...

Jailbroken origonal iPad running 4.3.3
I thought I'd have a bit of fun. I have an AppleTV and an iPad. I jail broke it just now (the iPad) and installed AirVideoEnabler with the idea that I could 'AirPlay' video recorded using sage via your web app to my apple tv. I find that I can play some video from safari (like the nasaTv website video) but the AppleTV fails to play any video sent from the WebTV plugin.
Does the Mobile Web Plugin use the standard media player or does it use a custom one (like BBC iPlayer, for example)

It's using the standard iOS video player via the HTML <video> tag.

There are a few minor differences in the transcode commands. The most interesting I found is the "-threads" option. AirVideo sets it to 4 and the media streaming plugin sets it to 2. I'm using a Java API to get the value so I wonder why it's returning 2 rather than 4.

Is the problem only occurring with me or you're able to "reproduce" my problem ? Did you have any time to look it up / fix it ?

It appears to be the number of processors that are allocated for the JVM and I'm not sure what determines that. I don't have this problem on my machine. I haven't had time to look into it as I've been traveling lately. That doesn't look to be letting up for at least a month or so.

Any developments on getting the streaming with this to work with Honeycomb tablets? I know google put in some HTTP Live Streaming pieces with honeycomb, and I've tested Mirage as well with some success.
I'd be willing to test this with both a Xoom and Galaxy Tab 10.1 I have here.. If going beyond the Honeycomb devices and looking at 2.x devices, I also have an EVO 4G and EVO 3D available for testing. Thanks! Shane

I hope things workout for the honeycomb users. I really enjoy streaming to my ipad2 but I find myself using my galaxy tab 10.1 much more.
