What antivirus or security suite are you running on your computer?

Try removing WOL from the equation by trying to connect when the server is already up and running, with the SageTV software running. Until you get that scenario working, there's no point fiddling with WOL.
Keep your tests as simple as possible, then add complications later once you have the basic stuff working.

Problem Solved
To all the wrote in on this a BIG THANKYOU1.
After working and working on the problem I simply solved by buying a brand new one. The old AMD 2200 chip with all the stuff that the family had downloaded over the years was just to much to wade through. Thank-you again Jim PS Greg, special thx for all you help
