What about music though? I've been searching on here and can't seem to find a big music cover art download. Tried Geektonic but those links won't give me a download. Does music use a similar file structure with each artist having a folder in the central FanArt folder?

Youre welcome. I would love music video fanart support as well as music in general under sageMC/BMT. Unfortunately, it's not supported. You may try asking in other fanart-related threads why; or, even start your own thread. I wish I had the answer for that.

However, there is some support for it though under the standard STV using the Tiki fanart system. You can also download "Tiki" based fanart (which includes some music fanart from:

To get the music fanart working it was simply a matter of using the same folder structure as the movies and tv. Ex: FanArt\Music\Artist\Backgrounds\filename.jpg. The one thing I didn't realize is that you actually need to click on an album to get the fanart to show up. It would be nice if it would show up on an artist page displaying all their albums but oh well.

So I wasn't able to find a big collection like the video one you posted so I started my own...painfully.

Hi LexLS, you weren't able to get a big collection like the video one I posted because I doubt you're using any form of automation to pull down thousands of fanart in the correct folders/subfolders. At least, I dont know of a way to use BMT to automatically download music fanart. I'm curious how you plan on downloading thousands of fanart for music.

If you manage to get a complete fanart collection for music comparable to the one for movies/TV, could you please share with us?

I don't have BMT installed yet. I'm doing this manually...I decided to re-encode my 500+ CD collection at 320 so I've just been saving the music as I clean up my MP3 filenames etc. Yeah, its slow but I at least want the fanart for the music I have.

I'll certainly share once I have more done and will start a new thread for that.
