My stabilty with an HDPVR and 211 hasn't changed at all. If anything it's better since I finally taped over the IR window.

Smile VIP622 +HDPVR now working?

First it was working fine. Maybe a lockup once every 2 weeks then I move my PC from a Antec Solo Case to an Antec P180 Case to increase my harddrives from 6TB to 10TB.

Then one of my Raid Drives fails. I get an RMA from Western Digital and put everthing back together and then HDPVR lockups every day.

After reading a ton I stumbled into my USB cable length and found out that the USB cable lenght for USB2.0 max is 16.4 feet. I was exceeding that. I added a 2.0 USB Repeater and now up for 4 days straight with the lastest Hauppauge and Sage drivers with 5.1 audio.

I also use STKeepAlive to refresh my Dish VIP622 with a USB UIRT.

Up now for 4 days straight and will update next week.

Thanks
Netbook cooling pad, is a plactic stand with a fan. Sized to fit one HD-PVR.
search ebay for "Fan Mini USB LED Laptop Notebook Cooling Pad".

Currently I am using a low speed 120mm 12 volt fan, hoping the netbook fan are cleaner looking...
