Plugin: PlayOn in Online Services (Hulu, Netflix, Amazon VOD, etc.)

Ok, I'm now loading at the speed you referenced. I reset my router/firewall to factory, removed opendns for dns lookup and replaced the cat5 cable. I'm not sure which of those cured my ills but I'm golden. Thanks for your help

I apologize if the answer is already in this thread. But this plugin with sage worked for a few weeks then seemed to stop after i rebooted the sage server pc. I live in Europe and do everything through placeshifter. I can see all the feed info, but when I start the hulu videos they stop right away. I posted a video of it here:

Livetv and recorded shows work fine, as so other online sites like CNN (which i suspect are not going through playon)

Anyone seen this and know how to fix? I paid for playon, so will they support me with the sagetv integration?

So are you trying to access Hulu from Europe or do you have a server in the US that you log into? As far as I know, Hulu does not work outside the US, which would explain the behavior you are seeing.

I review the 1st debugging post which states a possible fix to not seeing menus is to check for the latest updates and the locations for the unziped files to be placed in.

I did both but I still get no menus in the SageTV MC. I can go to the stand-alone mode and then to the FileFolder menu an see the PlayOn menu as a device. I can navigate from there and watch most online videos, but I see nothing except the default SageTV online menus.

I surveyed many posts in this thread and noted references to tempfeed.xml and also imported feeds in the sageTV3.xml. I have no tempfeed.xml and I do not know what "imported feeds" means. I am certain I am missing something fundamental. Any help would be appreciated

Please read through the first post again carefully, you've probably just missed one of the requirements or installation steps.

Is there a trigger or something to get the feed to show duplicate video titles? I am working on a PlayOn plugin that although the videos are different, some have the same name, so it only displays the first instance and I would like it to show all of them.

This is a sample:

xFeedPodcastCustom/TVespanola_E=xPodcastA_CustomSubCat;external,UPnP2Podcast,PlayOn:TVEplugin:Todos:Todos A-Z:^E$:+2

UPnP inspector shows that some of the videos have the same name, so I know they are there, but only one will show up using this feed.

It's been awhile, but my Grandmother-in-law visiting from Spain wants to watch her shows. Got to keep her happy.

Anyway, here are the files. I included a snapshot of UPnP Inspector for the two different videos, but you will notice that only one shows up in the xml file.

I did check the debugging section again as you suggested and noticed one of the links you gave which had a screenshot of the "Online" folder. While I have most of the files, there are several missing files. I have attached a screenshot of the "Online" folder. I also checked the zipped folder and there files were not there either. I installed version 6a of your plug-in, should I try an earlier version first?

I'm fairly sure that you're just not running the latest version of Sage's UI (Default STV). I know its a bit confusing, but Sage has made a few updates since they released 6.6.2 so even if you just downloaded/installed this week you could still be a few versions of the UI behind.

No tempFeed.xml file is generated now with the file you sent me. I checked the link you directed me to and I am running 6.6.2.24, which seems to be the latest release.
