Okay after much delay and many long hours here is version 3 release 1 for sagemc of sagemoviewall.

First thanks goes out to all that helped me. RazorSharpe and I spent many hours chatting and testing as well as he provided me with the jar for scrapping. He also helped me adjust some coding for performance.

Stuckless & Mike my app wouldn't be without sagemc or phoenix thanks a million. Also thanks for the side help understanding some of the api.

First and foremost you must be running the latest version of BMT 3.0 beta 2 or greater!!! it inlcudes the new phoenix apis which I am using throughout.

If you ran version 2 or earlier of SMW you need to delete all your properties files that start with "pluckyhd" before running 3.0. This will loose all your settings for movie wall but is needed as allot of the properties changed.

Actor images. My folder will extract a actor image folder in
"STVs\STVs\SageTV3\SageMCE\PLuckyhdSMWScreens\ActorImages"

This can be changed by changing the property file "pluckyhd/SMWActorImageLocation" in your properties file.

thanks to dravor over 4000 images can be located and downloaded here
ACtorImages

Shortcut Keys

FF #2 and RR #2 change current filters
Search = quick category view
Guide = actors in current movie
Info = ticker when on homepage (meaning you can change filters & sortby without leaving homepage and it will effect actor, categories and year)

My scaling recomendations
If you used BMT to get fanart
no scaleing of posters
your native resolution for backgrounds
480p for small backgrounds (roughly 25% of 1080p,50% of 720p or 100% of 480p)

SAgeMovieWallV3R1.04

Some screen caps
Screen caps of V 3.0

ListView
List View Info
List View Info with scrollable list
Wall View Halo
Wall View No Halo
Wall View overlay (vertical scrolling)Wall View overlay (horizontal scrolling)
Wall bottom type info view black
wall bottom type info view grey
Coverflow with perspectives
Coverflow with perspectives off

Home Page Themes

HomePage Reflections
HomePage Joker
HomePage Horror

HomePage Category list
HomePage Category Icons
HomePage Actor list
Actor List for selected movie

I know I am probably missing some stuff any questions just ask...

cheers and enjoy

I just couldn't find the "drool" smiley, so I went with the other emotions. Now, I'm more motivated than ever to get my movies ripped... just so I can see this wall in it's full glory! That Joker theme is... ??? I can't. Ever seen a picture of the Grand Canyon? Ever been there? You know how no picture can even come close to conveying the awe you feel standing before such a thing of beauty. That's how I feel right now.

in your properties file for sage

if you are on a client sage.client.properties

if you are on a single computer or server sage.properties

extenders are kept in the clients folder

all in your sagetv\sagetv folder

ooooohhh... oh so nice... Now i can't wait for the wife to get home...

The reflections theme certainly does seem to integrate well with Serenity...

Plucky -- again this is 100 times more awesome than your already awesomeness you had going on with previous wall. I especially like the new menu structure using left and right to scale through options screans and up and down to select different options...perfect!!!

one thing i noticed though is that when in your wall i can no longer use buttons like
home
guide
live tv
pictures

etc.

Its like the wall doesn't want to give UP control...

Is anyone else seeing this?

Remeber the above is just the xml if you haven't already downloaded complete v3 download above and you don't need this

You are correct They don't work (guide should bring up one of my functions) I am saving the others for other functions. Home button should work though

Hey

I'm having some trouble getting from the default sagetv setup to the finished screens as you're posted. Can you provide more detailed step-by-step instructions (including navigating through sageMC). Thanks.

Are you running sagemc? Latest version? BMT latest Version? Sage beta 6.5.18RC?

If all of those are yes what do you mean finished screens are you able to go into the wall at all?

Another thing i noticed is that when in the menus you cannot see what your currently focused on. is this also by design?

The menu that shows at the bottom <video options> <osd options> etc you can;t tell which one your on either, you just gotta guess..

Sorry for all the bugs, just trying to help out.

Another thing is when in wall view and showing filesystem, when you hover over poswet art the art goes blank and you can no longer see it.
