mvp is the old haupaugge mvp extender hard to find but can still be found.

MVP = Hauppauge MediaMVP. It is a device made by Hauppauge and was the first Sage extender (before the HD100.). It's a great little unit but it only supports MPEG 2 video.

Yeah, I'm being a wise guy.... but really, I did search around a little within the forums. Lots of references to "MVP", but I couldn't find a difinition.

This was the generation of Media Extender prior to the HD Extender and manuafactured by Happauge.
