You should be able to go to each one of those screens that you're saying aren't listed, bring up Studio and find out what the name of it is. SO in your example of the video details page wouldn't that be the Program Info background? (Which is in there.)

Ahh, I see it now. I had just assumed that was only for recorded tv programs. Now that I test it, it looks like it affects both. I don't suppose there's any way to have a different background between the tv program details and the video program details is there?

Create one.
Or maybe try the Movie Detail add-in and/or Tv Detail add in. But you would need to add them to the theme.properties files. (Not sure if you even can) But that gives you your seperate backgrounds between one or the other of them.

So, I screwed something up.

So I tested out this theme and I love it but the background makes it hard to read items that appear in the middle of the screen.

So I wanted to test out some other themes so on my extender I went to themes, browse and selected the iTV theme.

I hit apply and the only thing it changed was the background. The layout and icons stayed.

How do I fix this?

In addition to this, the "more.." menu is broken. I can go into it but once i am there, hitting left or right takes me back to the main menu, i can not navigate over to settings.

Can anyone help?

Thanks,
Peter

Nevermind, I fixed it. I went to settings and loaded the default .layout and was then able to navigate to settings.

I then realized that I could change the background from inside the sagemc settings.

Awesome theme. Thanks!

Love the theme, thank you!

Only problem is the icons aren't showing up. I did steps 3 & 4, restarted the services and Sage, still no joy. I checked, the files are there, but they're not pulling the icons in.

Using the latest Sage Beta, the latest SageMC, and Vista x64. Any ideas? Thank you!

bialio-

I'm a big fan of this theme. Are there any plans to update it? I've noticed a few things that I think could be improved. I haven't been making a list, but the thing that immediately comes to mind is that some text is difficult to read. You have gray boxes around a lot of the text, but not everything. For instance, it's hard to read the TV show descriptions/summaries. Part of it is probably because I set a different background in the SageMC setup, but I think I had problems even with the default background and sub-menu background. I'll look more carefully for things if you're taking suggestions.

Also, when you select an item on the weather screen it make it very difficult to read because of the way it highlights it.

Hmm. Can't download the theme. Get an error saying error 550, CWD failed, permission denied. I've seen a number of error reports about downloads being broken for various STVs, not sure if the problems are being fixed as they're reported, or if they're sporadic. Either way, consider this broken download reported, and I'll try it again tomorrow.

[Edit] Update - it appears all downloads from bialio are broken; looks like permissions for his upload directory are hosed.

I just tried downloading from the download page and it worked for me. Maybe you have trouble with FTP transfers?

Ok, sorry, but I have another issue.

When I attempt step 3: (Optional) I get an error.

Failed to load XML menu file

Failed to parse XML from C:\Program Files\SageTV\SageTV\nBlue_menu.xml
error at line 3 col 3: The markup declarations contained or pointed to by the document type declaration must be well-formed.

Any ideas?

Ok, ignore that error, I guess I don't need to do that menu import. It works fine without it.

GO to step 4
Quote:
4) (Optional) To install the provided menu file, from the Main Menu bring up the Options menu, select "Main Menu Options", then "File...", then select "Load other menu file...", and enter in nBlue_menu.xml via keyboard or remote.
and browse until you find the nBlue_menu.xml. Then go back and try Step 3 again. Make sure you have enabled the Dynamic Menus in the SageMC setup menu.

I'm trying to do steps 3 and 4:

3) (Optional) To install the layouts, from the Main Menu bring up the Options menu, and select "Customize Screen Layout", select "Import/Export Layout", select "Import All", then navigate to the nBlue folder and select "nBlue.full.layout"

4) (Optional) To install the provided menu file, from the Main Menu bring up the Options menu, select "Main Menu Options", then "File...", then select "Load other menu file...", and enter in nBlue_menu.xml via keyboard or remote.

How do I access the options menu using the remote? I'm using a HD100 with SageMC 6.3.8a. Help...

Press the "Options" button on the remote.

(It's just below the Audio button.)

Thanx! I just figured that out. I'm using a Harmony remote, and did not have the options button mapped for my "Sage TV" activity.

Posted version 1.1 in the download section now. It's not any big changes, just a few items I wanted to clean up.

* Weather - on the main menu the weather highlighted effect doesn't obscure the text anymore.
* Disc bar - flattened the look of the disk bar
* Linux Menu - included the linux nBlue.menu.xml file (thanks bcjenkins)
* Tweaked the default layout a little bit

What is the nBlue.sagemc file for? I see the file sitting in the SageMCE folder by itself as part of this package. I dont have any other *.sagemc files in my sageTV installation; even with other themes installed.

Thanks!
