OK-making some progress. Here's where I am at.

Had to install Sage TV 2.0.13.

I am recording show in all the formats to see what works and what doesn't with mpgtx and TMPGEnc to qualify if it doesn't work with mpgtx.

MPEG2 Max (5.6GB/hr)
mpgtx-No
TMPGEnc-Yes

Great (3GB/hr)
mpgtx-Yes
mplex-Yes
dvdauthor-yes
CopytoDVD CLI-yes

That's right-I took one from recording all the way to a burned DVD with the commandline. Right now I have a little batch file that will do this automatically (as long as I rename the original recording to "test") and then delete the files after.

I will continue to test. I have 2 recordings in Great and Good which I can test now. Then I have to record programs in the DVD settings and test those.

Funny thing is I had a recording from last night in DVD-Standard and TMPGEnc didn't like the audio track. Couldn't open the audio but opened the video. TMPGEnc DVD Author would accept the file but if you tried to play the preview audio encoding error would show up and the whole process errored out. This one was just bad for audio. But played fine in Zoomplayer, Sage, etc.

Yah! Forgot to mention I've been using the beta from the beginning of public betas, sorry.
Could you post or PM your batch file. I don't have any experience with CopytoDVD and I learn best by example. I'll still probably persue the Imgtool route(for the last step) myself since it's dontationware. But I want to know as much about this whole process as I can.

BTW Titan AE recorded at DVD long play turned out fine.

PS:I have a bunch of scipts(to automate each step) that I execute in sequence to get to the final product. I'm sticking with this for now so I can check the output at each stage.
EDIT:

Nevermind I just wrote a new batch to launch each seperate part in sequence.

Demuxed and burned another one from Good setting. No issues. And you've got PM.
